Sewer and Drain Lines

Sewer And Drain Lines

Main sewers are larger drains that run underground from the property and connect to a city sewer line or a septic tank. A main sewer line can become blocked or restricted by debris or by tree roots that penetrate pipe joints. Drain Doctor Technicians use a power snake machine to clear and clean walls the of the pipe to the city or septic connection.

Household Drains

Household Drains

Usually hair, soaps, grease and detergents buildup in the pipe. A service technician will clear the kitchen, tub, sink, and shower drain to cleanse the drain of any and all debris, restoring it to proper working condition.

Septic and Grease Traps

Septic And Grease Traps

Grease traps should be pumped yearly, quarterly or even monthly according to size and usage. Grease traps are designed to trap the build ups of fats, oils and grease. The trap acts as a filter which may become clogged or ineffective if left unattended for too long. A neglected grease trap can spill grease and build up into other lines. With the advancements in water softening, antibacterial soaps and ultra concentrated detergents, it is hard to maintain the same echo-friendly environment in your septic system needed to promote bacterial growth. Failure to perform maintenance on your tank can lead to clogs and possible field saturation.

Video Inspection

Video Inspection

Inspections are used to identify the condition of a drainpipe and the location of any possible defects or damage. Inspections with pipe location are recorded on a VHS/DVD or a USB flash drive.

High Pressure Water Jet Cleaning

High Pressure Water Jet Cleaning

Waterjet cleaning is different than conventional cleaning processes in that it uses much higher water pressures which require unique pump, hydraulic and control systems. Very hard coatings such as grease and debris are essentially eroded from the substrate by the high pressure water droplets, while brittle coatings are fractured.

Cleaning of Electrical Conduit Lines

Cleaning Of Electrical Conduit Lines

We inspect the pipelines to see where the damage has occurred and visually inspect the amount of debris to be removed from the pipeline. Once the pipeline has been inspected we either use cable or rodding machines to remove roots and debris or use high pressure jetting. Drain Doctor's jetting equipment has the capabilities of removing roots and debris in the conduit without damaging the existing structure. All waste removed from the pipeline can be vacuumed up using our vac truck or trailer mounted vacuum and removed. Once the conduit is clean and clear of debris we use air inversion to place a new seamless and joint less epoxy liner in the pipeline.
